Furniture Project

The Furniture Project at Jacob's Well Care Centre offers a large warehouse of good quality pre-owned furniture at very affordable prices. Its aim is to ensure that everyone, no matter how small their budget, can furnish their home to a high standard, creating a better personal space to live in.  The centre will collect items that are no longer wanted or needed, fix them up and sell them to fund community projects. In addition to furniture, it has a range of electrical appliances, bedding and other household items.

Hub4Stuff

Re-uses, recycles and upcycles household items and supplies furniture and other household goods to people on low incomes.  Provides a donation-based van removal service.  Based at Bridgemary Methodist Church, Prideaux-Brune Avenue, Bridgemary PO13 0PP.

Acts of Kindness Community-Solent

The charity helps those in the community that need support such as food parcels, clothes, basic furniture and more. If you have experienced an out of the ordinary crisis then call 023 93812868 and they will endeavour to offer help or advice and point you in the right direction.

School Uniform Project

The Jacob's Well School Uniform Project understands that providing school uniforms for your children can be very expensive as children grow out of them quickly or they need replacing due to wear and tear. School uniform requirements can also limit choice for finding more budget- friendly alternatives.

The Project accepts donations of any unwanted or outgrown school uniform items for schools in Gosport, Stubbington and Fareham, both junior and senior schools, and  parents can drop into the Project to  look over the current supply and choose  uniform items they need for their children. There is no referral necessary and no registration details are taken. Supply may be limited to one uniform per child if current demand is high.
